In this direction, WBU is processing the personal data of the website visitors stated in this Statement by ensuring the safety of the data in question in compliance mainly with the Privacy Law legislation and also with the Privacy Law Procedure – Personal Data Storage and Deletion Policy of our Foundation.

Your personal data are stored and retained within the time limits necessary for the purposes of data processing stated in this Statement as well as the legal period of limitation stated in the legal regulations. At the end of the said time ad period WBU deletes, eliminates and anonymizes your personal data in compliance with the Personal Data Storage and Deletion Policy.

Our Foundation takes all technical and managerial measures necessary as per the Privacy Law legislation in order to prevent unauthorized access to, or erroneous processing, disclosing and unlawful alteration/deletion of your personal data as well as to ensure the protection and safety thereof. In cases deemed necessary by the Privacy Law legislation, WBU will notify both you and the Personal Data Protection Board immediately.

Within the framework of Article 11 of the Data Privacy Law, we inform you that you have the right to apply to our Association and request the following pertaining to your personal data (i) to learn whether these data have been processed, (ii) if so, to be informed thereof and to learn the purpose for such processing and compliance to that purpose, (iii) to learn 3rd parties to whom it has been transferred within/out of the country, to correct the data in case of insufficient/erroneous processing, (iv) to delete/eliminate the data within the conditions set forth in Article 7 of the Data Privacy Law, (v) to inform third parties to whom your data have been transferred of your requests for deletion/elimination of your personal data as well as the correction of insufficient/erroneous processing be deleted and eliminated within the scope of Article 7 of the Data Privacy Law, (vi) to object to any conclusion adversely against you based on the exclusive analysis of your data with automated systems adverse conclusion, (vii) to be compensated for your loss in case you face such loss due to unlawful processing of your data.
